2025
At present, I am discovering more styles of coffee, and expanding my brewing methods through both more equipment and experimenting with new recipes.

Sweven - Red Dragon
4/5 = A delicate tea like smokiness to this amazing option from Bristol's Sweven. Needed a lot of work and experimentation to bring out everything this unique coffee can offer.

Plot - Substance
1.5/5 - This extended fermentation Ugandan is NOT FOR ME! I like a bit of funk and this provides funk in droves. Still yet to finish it but may work as an Espresso tonic when the weather improves

Brew Project - Jairo Arcilla
Undecided/5 - The first lychee coferment I've tasted, incredibly sweet funky nose on it that carries through in tasting. May be a little too out there for me, but I do like a bit of funk.

Brew Project - Rumadamo
3.5/5 - A good natural ethiopian, punchy, tropical and creamy
2024 - The year of discovery
2024 was the year I discovered pourover, and my obsession with this hobby (read as addiction) was born. Featuring weird simple, weird, and complex beans from a number of roasters in the UK, especially from those in East Anglia and Bristol.

Dark Arts - Guerreras
3.5/5 - Lovely sweet notes from this mexican Dark Arts offering, notes of mallow, stone fruit and berry

Kerb Kollective - Ethiopian
4.5/5 - A great small batch roasting of the wonderful Ethiopian Rumadamo bean. Stone fruity, floral and punchy. One of my favourite coffees of last year

Hot Numbers - Kabira Lot #2
3.5/5 - Sweet, floral, very drinkable

Kofra - Bali
5/5 - Sweet, fun, crazy. Marshmallow overtone

Kerb Kollective - First KRK

DAK - Fluffy Peach
Floral, fruity, tea like. 4.5/5

Wood Street - Merry & Bright
2/5 - satisfying christmas blend, notes of spice and sweetness
